Thank you so much to everyone who came out to Open House this past Thursday. Our class had 100% parent participation. The class was so exited to show off their work and our chicks! Monday, March 2 was Dr. Seuss Read Across America Day. We celebrated Dr. Seuss by reading many of his fun books. We watched the original Lorax story and made mustaches. We hope to spread his message and always speak for the trees. Early in the week, learners worked hard on their Keynote presentations about continents and natural resources around the world. We spent time asking some questions about our new unit on life cycles. We love hearing our classmates read to us. On Friday, we spent some time visiting some 1st grade classrooms and letting them pet the chicks. Finally it has come time to say goodbye to our chicks We have enjoyed having them in class and learning about their development and life cycle. We wish them a fine life on the farm! Have a great spring break!
