2A had a great last day of school today. We had time to relax and spend time together as a class for the last time. We were excited to see the 5th graders as they walked the halls of Pinkerton for one last time as learners here. I loved seeing my former 2A learners. These are our last class pictures taken together this year. I hope everyone has a wonderful summer. I will miss all of these sweet faces. Thanks to all of the learners and parents who made this year great! I appreciate you all! for an awesome year in 2A!

The end of our school year has been filled with exciting activities. Field Trip! 2nd grade visited the Perot Museum in Dallas. We saw so many interesting exhibits. We went to two special presentations. The first one was about animal adaptations. We saw lots of preserved animals and a live turtle and snake! The second was was all about Legos. It is amazing how Legos can be used to create beautiful art. Portfolio Day Parents and guests came to Pinkerton to see all of the hard work that we have been doing this year. They were able to see our IB portfolio binders and online portfolios which hold work that represents each of our IB units. We are looking forward to Field Day tomorrow!
