The last week of school was short and busy. On Wednesday we started off the day with the Awards Assembly. 5th graders were very entertaining. It was particularly fun to see some former 2A learners. On Thursday the 5th graders held a graduation ceremony to mark their passage to middle school. Following the ceremony, they walked the halls of Pinkerton one last time. 2A learners waited patiently for the 5th graders to arrive. Second graders made murals to greet the incoming second graders next year. For lunch we enjoyed delicious pizza and cupcakes. I am so thankful to have been able to work with the most wonderful class this year. Each learner contributed to make our class special. They were kind and caring. They were responsible and respectful. They worked hard every day to do their best work. I appreciate all of their efforts this year. I love each one and I will miss them greatly! The children are gone and the room is finally packed up for the summer. It is time to relax and enjoy the a little time off. I wish everyone a safe and enjoyable summer vacation. Thanks for an awesome year!
